Committee Nominations

FUPS is looking for a group of keen, palaeo-loving and committed people to join the committee in running the society!

We are especially looking for keen palaeontology students at Flinders as several of the committee positions require the role to be filled by a student and the society is run by students predominantly for students.

There are several committee positions available and all are open for applications. Each position plays a different role in running the society so if you are creative and social, you may be interested Palaeo in the Pub Coordinator. Maybe, if you are good with numbers and interested in how a society runs financially, you might consider applying for Treasurer. And if you are organised, committed and eager, the role of President might be the one for you. So check out the different positions and find the one that suits you!

There are no requirements for previous experience so if you haven't done anything like this before, that is okay. Previous committee members will be available in the Palaeontology lab at Flinders and via email to assist and answer any questions throughout the year. All you need is an interest in palaeontology and the society.

Click here if you want to nominate for a committee position. Please send us your nomination by the 13th of September 2021. If the form below is not accessible, please send an email to flinderspalaeo@gmail.com with your name, email, the position you would like to nominate for, and a short paragraph on why you feel you would be good for this position.
